The Factions cut-scenes are far and away the worst between the three current campaigns. Definitely below-par when held against most top RPG titles out there.

Horrible scripts that a school drama class would have tossed out, and voice acting possibly done by moonlighting A-net programmers, just does not cut it in a top-rated game.

Rewrite the scripts, and redo the voice acting. Some of the cut-scenes can also be editted shorter as well.

I know this is one year too late, I know it has zero impact on the game and will cost money, so I know that this has zero chance of being implemented.

People are still buying new copies of Factions, so I'll like to voice it anyway. A-net is obviously aware of this, hence the improvements in NightFall.

No. They don't waste time on older campaigns.

Re-dubbing the entire Factions campaign would take too much time and effort away from more important things.

Just fixing glitches in cinematics (like minions killing party members in Vizunah) should be more than enough.

With the new Rt hero being Elder Rhea's daughter, I sure hope we won't ever get to hear Elder Rhea again.

More important things to do. And there are a lot of new games with worse acting/plots then Factions. Sure, GW isn't going to be Knights of the Old Republic or anything, but its perfectly acceptable (heck, its an MMORPG with a plot! how many of those are around?).

By the way, thanks for that info Mitchel, didn't know about that.

I remember it more like, "UH! The emperor! He! ... Is going to kill you!"

The solution? Cantha is Asian themed, so I just turn on English subtitles and Korean voices. Now I can't tell how good or bad the voice acting really is, but I still understand what they're saying.

However, I wouldn't mind it if they fixed the graphics glitches.

And despite the glitches and voices, I always get a laugh when my character wands an enemy to death in a cutscene.

I'd say yes...but dang man, the voice acting is SO bad that it's beyond bad...its passed into the realm of hilarious, like old Godzilla movies.

Also, Master Togo's voice makes me giggle because it sounds like he's eternally on helium to me.

And the Fortune Teller makes me snicker every time. "Bewah...teh havwest...cewemony!"

Implementing better voice acting would be extremely amusing when you see all of the characters mechanically react with a few given "emotes" where their weapons temporarily pop out of existence.

ArenaNet might take better care in Guild Wars 2, but for now we have to be satisified with character interactions vaguely familiar to Final Fantasy 7 and 8.

Actually, the new rit hero is the daughter of Captain Juno.
